Working On Your Car Could Soon Be Illegal

Granted the media tends to sensationalize things, and I PROMISE this blog will not become a political or social commentary platform, but this issue is relevant to the core principles of Chippernut: That of open participation in DIY automotive enhancements - including on-board vehicle computers.  I feel a lot of the readers here would agree this is an important issue that needs to be analyzed in a fair and unbiased manner.  Please ponder the implications of this and, if you choose, take the first step by signing the EFF petition against this potential law. EFF News Story here
